Matt Lum joined the Firm in 2012, upon FW Cook's acquisition of Cogent Compensation Partners, a Houston-based executive compensation consulting firm. He worked for the firm from 2012 until 2015, when he left to pursue his MBA at the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. He rejoined the firm in 2017 upon completion of his studies.
Matt has worked with clients across a wide array of industries and within various stages of the business cycle. He has experience in aligning companies’ incentive plans with their long-term strategy, advising on total compensation structures, and comparing pay and performance.
