Compensation Trends
Joe Sorrentino

NACD Research Triangle Chapter’s signature Leading from the Boardroom program, a full day exploration of trends in board composition, compensation and succession planning.

The program will feature sitting corporate board directors who are members of Compensation and Nom/Gov committees to discuss the factors that influence their decision-making and the challenges they see on the horizon.

The topics include:

  • Preparing for a leadership transition: a fireside chat on a recent succession planning experience with a board chair and CEO
  • Compensation trends: what’s new, what matters, and what we’ve learned about talent recruitment and retention
  • Board evaluations: effective surveys and assessments to identify strengths and areas for improvement
  • The optimized board: what leaders need to know to stay current on fiduciary and legal requirements, along with a discussion of best practices
FW Cook Managing Director Joe Sorrentino moderates the Compensation Trends panel to lead the discussion on the latest trends in board and executive compensation, and hear best practices and lessons learned from Compensation Committee leaders.
