James Lutz joined the firm in 2022. He recently co-authored the firm’s annual research paper on executive long-term incentive design, exploring compensation vehicles, performance metrics, and other design features employed by the 250 largest companies of the S&P 500. Previously, James worked at Citigroup and was a member of the Human Resources Analyst Program, where he served on the Global Mobility and Markets HR Advisory teams. Following this, he joined Citi’s Executive Compensation team, and helped to design and administer executive pay, create materials for Citi’s Personnel and Compensation Committee, and research market practices within the financial services industry.
