Matt Lum joined the firm in 2012, upon FW Cook’s acquisition of Cogent Compensation Partners, a Houston-based executive compensation consulting firm. In 2015, he left to pursue his MBA at the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, and rejoined the firm in 2017 upon completion of his studies.
Working with boards of directors and senior executives across a wide array of industries and within various stages of the business cycle, Matt serves as a collaborative executive compensation consultant with experience in aligning companies’ incentive plans with their long-term strategy, advising on total compensation structures, and comparing pay and performance.
